These functional paddleboards transform traditional recruitment swag into memorable, high-value items that resonate with younger demographics. By combining bold USCG branding with youth culture appeal, the paddleboards serve as mobile brand ambassadors while creating lasting impressions and sparking conversations long after initial contact. I drew the water waves design on my iPad, then polished it in Adobe Illustrator and made it a reality. These made their debut at the 2025 Moloka'i 2 O'ahu Paddleboard World Championships (M2O) in Hawaii.
CSPI Program Notebooks
I designed custom notebooks for the Coast Guard's CSPI (College Student Pre-commissioning Initiative) program to provide students with practical tools while strengthening brand recognition. These notebooks serve dual purposes: offering functional note-taking space for cadets during their training and reinforcing USCG's visual identity through thoughtful branding elements. The design balances professionalism with student-friendly aesthetics, ensuring the notebooks become valued items that participants use throughout their academic journey, effectively extending the program's presence beyond formal training sessions.

USCG Recruiter Snowboards
I designed a custom snowboard graphic inspired by the underside of a Jayhawk rescue helicopter for the United States Coast Guard. The concept translates aviation design language into a bold, functional board graphic, drawing from the helicopter's paneling, color blocking, and high-visibility markings. By mimicking the visual structure of the aircraft's belly, the design reinforces the Coast Guard's identity of readiness, precision, and rescue at speed. The result bridges aviation and action sports, turning an operational aircraft detail into a striking, mission-driven visual statement.
